Baby boomers are going into nursing homes, baseball cards are great way to protect assets.
They are not checking the value of baseball cards, the countable assets include checking and savings account balances, IRAs, CDs, stocks, and bonds. Your home, your car, personal belongings (baseball cards), or your savings for funeral expenses remain outside of countable assets
