Once I knew he was going to be okay, I had to chuckle. Hatch kept hitting himself in the head to shake the cobwebs off. Probably not the thing to do.

I told my wife, "I think they just knocked the Harvard out of our QB."

Pissed me off when Espn would show him on the sideline after Lee did a good play, basically taunting him...

This from a board that mocked Prothro's broken leg? The guy was obviously okay, as he could walk on his own power. No neck braces, no carts off the field, he stayed on the sideline the rest of the game with an obviously still reverberating bell.
Also, if you get your Mom to read the rest of the thread to you, you'll see some others who laughed at it as well, so STFU Francis.

If it was a Gump player, I bet ya'll would be crying and somehow blaming Shula.

Just to clarify. It was not the hit by the Auburn player that sent Hatch out of the game. As he was falling down from the initial hit by the Auburn player his head was hit by Brett Helms knee. It was the hit against Helms knee that knocked him out of the game.

Thanks for the clarification. I was wondering what happened b/c Powers hit him in the torso...mystery solved.

Funny, I was dying laughing at my house too. Only I was laughing at how large and obnoxious Tubby's ears were after the onside kick pwned him again.

When Wilson and Arenas got stuck in the Tulane game, I was laughing in the stands. They got the $hit knocked out of them, which I can always appreciate, and neither was seriously injured. When the injury is serious, its not a laughing matter.

Yeah, I watched the replay myself...I just can't get over the fact that Tubby fell for the halfback pass AGAIN!!

I actually thought his players played pretty good defense on that play. The cornerback got caught watching and was a little behind the receiver but not far. And, the safety was there about as quick as you'd expect with the help.

KW's left calf just threw a perfect pass.

The best part of that play was there were three pretty open options to throw the pass to. Great design on the play, and very well executed.

DimWit....how did you know Hatch didn't have a serious injury at the time ya'll were "dying laughing"..he's still recovering from a mild concussion so yea, it could have been serious but it's what one would expect from a Bama fan..

To be honest I didn't really care for ESPN's handling of the Hatch situation. Just my $.02.

Holly Rowe tried to be funny by saying if Hatch wasnt Mormon she would have thought he was drunk.

its not like hatch had a neck injury and was carted off the field. he took a hard hit and then a harder hit off his linemen. He had a concussion and it was pretty clear that was all he had. I see nothing wrong with talking about him having a concussion or laughing about answers/actions he was giving.

Come on Tigers fans what are they suppose to say don't show the starting Q.B. on T.V. that just got his arse knocked off. They would do same coverage if it was Hatch, Todd kid or T. Tebow...Damn we have some sensative people here... I also chuckled he look like Mike Tyson trying to put his mouth piece back in

I didn't think it was funny. Head injuries are a serious matter, he could have been really hurt. I hated how they kept showing him on the sidelines.

If he would have tore his ACL they wouldn't have showed him on the sidelines over and over b/c of "sympathy" of how bad a "knee" is...but when it comes to your "head", screw it..it's funny..it's good TV!
