Ah yes, which of course raises the existential quandary -- If a genetic male turned trans female has sex with women, does that make him/her/them gay?

If a fully homosexual man begins to identify as a woman, and we give him legal right to identify as his gender of choice, shouldn't reference to him/her/them as "gay" be verboten?
