Pfizer executive appointed to Williamson county, TN Board of Education

The Williamson County Commission voted to appoint Josh Brown to fill a vacancy on the Williamson County School Board - but not without some controversy.
Brown is a graduate of Williamson County Schools and has three children who attend school in the district. But Brown's profession is the issue that has several parents unhappy about his appointment. He is a National Vice President for the pharmaceutical company Pfizer.
"You care not about the division you are causing in this county," parent Robin Steenman said to the commission. "You are not listening to we the people. If you will not listen we change who is listening in 2022."
"There's too much stink going on here," parent Jeff Price said. "A representative for Pfizer. Really?"
Brown is also facing criticism by some parents for having multiple friends on the commission who voted for him over two other candidates. Brown responded to the allegations.
"On any issue related to my employer I'm going to recuse myself if there is a conflict of interest," Brown told the commission before the vote. "I'm not going to apologize for who I work for. I'm not going to apologize for living here all my life and knowing some of you people on the commission. If that's the criticism I guess I can't do much about that."
Brown will serve the rest of the term representing District 4 on the school board after Brad Fiscus, the husband of Tennessee's former vaccine director, resigned last month. The next election for the seat will be August of 2022.

FBI is on their way to Williamson County to deal with those terrorists questioning the board’s wisdom.

Williamson County is the leader of a quiet problem happening amongst school boards in affluent areas in the South. We have the same thing happening in Madison County, MS.
Even though the populace is highly conservative Christian (there are more churches per capita in Williamson County, TN than any county in America), the school boards are woke. They can't get away with some of the stuff we see elsewhere, but while our eyes are on Loudon County, VA, they are sneaking in woke policies.
Here in Madison, we hired a superintendent from Nashville that was excellent. The board couldn't control her though, so they ousted her 9 months into a 3 year contract. They hired someone from the inside that is the typical "Rules for thee, not for me" liberal and it has been a disaster. Today, we had a virtual learning day because of a clerical error. My daughter got zero instruction - one teacher didn't even show up and another one couldn't figure out how to unmute herself - in the best school district in the state.
Four out of five members of our school board do not have children in any school in the district. If you start looking into them, you see very quickly that they support progressive causes.

1. Who defines what issues are “related to” your employer, a-hole?
2. How exactly is your “recusal” enforced?

I spoke to Clay Travis the other night at Monday Night Raw. This shite is far from over.

I know there is Soros money floating around Williamson county and amongst certain board members.

If you live in Davidson, you’ve got a lot more problems that a Phizer employee on the school board
This dude working for Phizer doesn’t mean he’s a liberal. If he’s been in Franklin his whole life, chances are he’s the opposite. No one would have cared he worked there until COVID

Memphis City Schools are garbage, always have been. When they tried to absorb Shelby County Schools, Collierville and Germantown just started their own school systems and they’re doing great. Memphis City schools are still awful, horribly run, and with corrupt school boards

Are we supposed to act like COVID hasn't changed everything and pretend that vax mandates aren't happening all over right now?

Man they aren’t even hiding it anymore

Does him working for Phizer make him a liberal? Does it mean he supports mandates because the company he’s worked at for years developed a vaccine? I can tell you how well it would go for him if he tried that in Williamson County. Not well. Or did you miss Clay Travis live streaming last time this was broached at a school board meeting?
