It is 100% because he called Goodell a fa**ot and a pussy.
Nobody gives a frick about pointing out a man with giant lips has giant lips.
He said what every NFL fan in America thinks about God Emperor Goodell. Those private messages were made public during the investigation into the Redskins.
Once those derogatory comments were known, Goodell had no choice but to eliminate Gruden. No way he allows a head coach who called him a fa**ot and a pussy to remain in the league.
The Michelin Lips email was intentionally leaked first so the media could gaslight the issue and rally the useful idiots and SJWs (on social media and at ESPN). They lynched Gruden without Goodell getting his hands dirty.
Guess what? It worked out brilliantly.
