In science the more data you have the more accurate you can be.

While they may have had tens of thousands of trial patients that they used to base the 90-95% effectiveness with they now have 50 million people they can use the data for plus a longer observational time.

A new virus plus new vaccinations means a lot of small sample sizes at first so the numbers change as the sample sizes grow, but it isn’t because they “don’t know”. They weren’t lying to you, it’s just what the numbers told them at the time.

So that explains why Pfizer didn’t document the 3410 suspected Covid cases in their trial. Because they wanted more data?
