That would be rad to show grindhouse and other cult films. I've toyed with the idea of opening a small, single-screen theater. I think the key is introducing a new social element to the experience because, as others have mentioned, they could simply just watch at home.

If you show the right movies, the people who come will be well behaved, If you show trashy movies, expect the worst.

If you do it project from actual film, not the digitized hard drive versions, lot of people will pay a premium for that.
