frick that. Three 8 hour days of writing on a legal pad until your hand is going to fall off (pre-computer days) is a rite of passage all new lawyers should have to endure.

I get that it seems ridiculous, but I took the one day and it was fricking hard. "open book" only means so much when you have 50 minutes to read a 3 page fact pattern and answer 7 essay style questions. Besides a few easy copy and paste things (Negligence analysis, divorce types, etc.,) it was straight memory.

I will say the 3 days sound like hell, but going through the last decade of old exams, the questions didn't really vary enough to account for time.

Now the handwriting part I will absolutely admit that I'm too much of a bitch to do that I need a computer
