I expected that he would get the year to prove himself, and maybe even into next year.

Then this year happened. The program has devolved into a complete and indisputable dumpster fire. The culture is rotten. Yes, there are excuses to be made, but at the end of the day results are what matter.

The ship is sinking. The only question is when it finally hits the ocean floor.

Bruh, I’ve told y’all since UCLA…it’ll be this Sunday.

When Ed enters his office on Sunday, SW will be sitting at his desk smiling.

If it’s ugly he’s gone by Monday morning.

If it's an ugly loss, yes. If it's close, no but his arse is one fire for sure.

No. He won’t be removed until end of season no matter what. Woodward waits until end so he can fire and announce the replacement ASAP.

IF he is removed, it will be after the season. I think the next three games would have to get very ugly for him to be let go during the season.

I think the nail is in the coffin at this point barring some outrageous 5-0 run over the next 5. That said I dont believe they will cut him loose until the end of the season barring some drastic off the field issue like the title IX stuff coming up again or something like that.

I think so. Woodward wants him gone, the fanbase wants him gone, it just seems like as good a time as any

Good question.

I’ll say no. It’s to early.

But if the team lays an egg, and shows no fight, you then start having serious discussions.

I fully expect things to get ugly in the coming weeks. It seems to be what happens in the SEC with a lame duck coach.

I think the only way he doesn't make the year is if the team just flat out quits, and Woodward is left with no other option.

He's already said that he doesn't think there is much benefit to firing a coach midseason, so I expect him to hang on to O for as long as it is possible.

That being said, I think Orgeron is 99% as good as gone, and if he drops two more games (which is all but a guarantee at this point) it turns to 100%. He's a dead man walking, I'm just expecting it to happen Sunday morning after aTm, with Woodward having the replacement in place in under a week.

Now, certain circumstances could change that. If Meyer gets fired, or Peterson would come and Woody wants either of those, then you get the ball rolling ASAP.

I think you guys that think he finishes the season are nuts personally. If we lose to Kentucky, he's going to go sub .500 during the Florida/Ole Miss/Bama stretch. Doubt he survives that in season.

Same here. Stop the bleeding and start talking to some other coaches who could potentially retain the croots

You have a better chance of maintaining recruiting class by getting rid of him and naming a replacement early as possible. The recruits already know he is gone, you are not going to fool them.

This is a cry for help. He’s clearly being held captive, so he posted something that would alarm us that something is wrong.
