If we followed the science, people under 50 would be having COVID parties like we did as kids with chicken pox. Just get it, get the antibodies, and be done with it.

Well, to be fair, it would definitely depend on known comorbidities. Obviously, you wouldn't want to give some morbidly obese kid Covid. But, it's THOSE kids you would want to isolate, distant learn and wear a mask until the rest of the kids (and population) acquire herd immunity. Oh, and while they're isolating, PUT THOSE LITTLE FAT F*CKS ON A DIET AND EXERCISE REGIME so that they too will not be so at risk both for Covid and all the other diseases associated with childhood obesity.

But, overall, I agree with your sentiments. When I was kid, my brother got chicken pox over the summer. My mom purposely exposed me so that I would get it over the summer and wouldn't have to miss school. A few of her friend's kids came over and we gave it to them too -- ON PURPOSE!

An epidemiologist was discussing the mass vax'ing during the pandemic causes the variants as the virus mutates in order to survive. This is making the virus worse for non-vax'd. You are seeing higher morbidity rates among unvax'd now than you did during 2020.

My take, you were seeing numbers going down and getting pretty low through late 2020. Then they go up to current levels as more are vax'd. How has the vaccine worked or been successful?
The govts have made things worse and have divided their respective countries. Reagan was right when he said the most scary phrase was "We are from the govt we are here to help."
