DC or DC area sports bar for Saints/WFT Game Sunday

Not exactly sure where to post this but figured I can ask the DC people of the board if they have any recommendations for a place to watch the game Sunday. Wife's family lives in Reston, Virginia and we are going for visit. Decided not to go to the game and will instead just watch somewhere but would like a decent atmosphere. I'm a Washington Football Team fan and she is a Saints fan so can go where ever.
Thanks for help.

Just go to the game, if you are already going to be there and want to go somewhere to watch the game then go to the stadium and watch the game. You’ll spend 100+ on food/drinks to go to a sports bar anyway and have to travel all the way into DC.
I used to live there but looks like those locations closed, looks like little miss whiskeys on H street NE is probably best bet… but by that time you are close to the stadium

Originally the plan was to try to go to the game, but it doesn't seem to be worth the trouble. It's not out of the question just seeing other options.

Last time I was in DC I went to a spot called Proper 21 near the White House...I remember the food being better than decent.
If you can get in and want an absolute experience...check out Minibar while there.
ETA - Proper 21 takes reservations which is sometimes a plus when trying to snag a table for a game.

Minibar looks interesting but they are not currently taking reservations.
Proper 21 looks cool. Thanks for response.

All I did is google saints bar dc… major cities have home bars for LSU and saints ex-pats to congregate for games… got some options but it wasn’t same ones when I lived there 2010-2013. If you have to take a car or metro into dc then it’s the same trouble as going to fedex field… they have a shuttle from the metro station to stadium there. I don’t understand why you wouldn’t watch game at where you’re staying with some beer, unless you go to the game… a bar makes no sense unless you just like wasting money. Geaux to the game!

Didn't want to get into details but I guess I will. I would love to geaux to the game but our current situation is difficult.
Been stuck in the house for the last 4 months with the baby so the wife and I would like to enjoy a nice Sunday out while the in-laws can watch him. He doesn't take formula and Fed-Ex field is not really accommodating to breast feeding mother's who have to pump since they are strict in the things you can bring into the stadium and they don't have designated rooms to use for pumping. We've been to Fed Ex field a few times already, took the metro and walked a mile to the stadium and have driven a car there. Traffic and the hassle getting in and out is not worth it this time.
Next time we go visit we will go to a game. I was just asking if anyone knew any good spots, if nobody does that's fine. We will figure it out.

We used to go to Little Miss Whiskey's Golden Dollar for Saints games. It's an acquired taste.
People watch LSU at The Brig, so maybe try that?

The Brig looks cool. A beer garden might be the best option.

Traveled to a decent number of road games. FedEx is one of the worst stadiums in the league for logistics of getting to the game, especially considering DC is a city that you can navigate easily without a car. Transit access sucks, driving is miserable, and the stadium is crappy.
So I understand.
