Dan Marino when he slings the ball from his hip. Anyone else notice the similarity

... he should take whoever turned over his ESPN mugshot behind a woodshed.

I just like how he stayed in the pocket long enough at times to make the pass...Hatch seemed to want to run when things got tight in the pocket.

The problem with Lee is that he hasn't shown that he can go to the second option receiver when the first option is covered.

It really isn't a problem in college and with our receivers. He has enough arm strength; most collge DBs can't catch it!

Don't get me wrong, he's going to make a few dumb decisions, but he gives us the best chance to win. If we keep Hatch in the game, there is no way we come back. On the other hand if we have a lead he needs to be cautious on 3rd downs and manage the game.

I've always thought Lee's passing style was more like Elway IMHO.

Bingo.

When he threw the pick 6 he had jared mitchell sprinting down field with nobody following him. If Lee looks down field after the pump fake it's a TD.

looked like on the TD to Mitchell, he checked a couple of others first...but that was a hell of a throw considering he was being hit at the time

He's a redshirt freshman. He needs to be told to throw the ball away if the primary reciever is covered.

He'll just have to beware against little Nicky if he has more complicated blitz packages and coverages.

For as much as we dislike Jimbo now, I always did like the way LSU's offense looked during the Davey-Reed and late-JR eras. I love seeing people wide open 20 yards down the field on an out or crossing route!

Yes, he will get better with time...but on that last Touchdown to Lafell, he was staring at Lafell as soon as he got the snap...very surprised the DB didn't jump the route...

did anyone notice Byrd's reaction when he threw the pass? he threw his arms in the air as if to say WTF. Did he think the pass was intended for him or something?

marino is who people were comparing him to coming out of HS because of his quick release. i loved his moxy saturday night but you could tell they were giving him 1 or 2 options at the most to throw to but it worked dammit and we won

It takes playing time to get used to the speed of the SEC...the game will slow down for him as he gets more relaxed and confident...as for most of us human beings, growing up requires time and quite a few mistakes along the way!
