Injuries are a real excuse

so the injuries are why payton calls bad plays, makes dumb decisions, makes dumb challenges, and wastes time outs like they will never need them, ok.

I certainly think Sean reduced our chances of winning today. If we had a healthy team though, they woulda won anyway

Payton didn't call a great game, very few coaches go all year w/o calling bad games. Payton calls more good games than bad games. Today was w/o a doubt bad, and the secondary was just pathetic. I don't even really think DA called a bad game, I think our secondary just played like shite. It's the NFL, shite happens. Most here thought it would be good if we finished the year average. I think that's going to be the case here but you never know. There is obvious talent here, and a lot of that talent is unable to play as OP stated.

We will be limited for another year on salary cap. I've heard rumors next year will be tough but slightly better but so many things can obviously change. I doubt we can go after a top WR but maybe a decent #2. We need a good #2 and to upgrade at TE. I think Trautman will eventually grow into a decent to good TE but he may be another year or 2 away from that.
