Because the buyout is cheaper?

If you fire him now, then you're also paying another coach a multi-million$$$ salary in '22 & '23, Einstein...

NOT a defense of O; just a critique of your logic implying that it SAVES money to fire him now

And lose 50 million in revenue due to lower ticket sales, merchandise, parking, food plus significantly less desire by those willing to pay towards N.I.L. which scares away prime recruits.
