In October yes. That can completely change over the next 2 months. It's like every September people start watching CFB for the first time.
In 2014 OSU was god awful in September, in 2019 LSU barely beat an average Texas team and gave up 300 yards rushing to Ole Miss in November, in 2018 Clemson put in a true freshman named Trevor something right around this point in the year and changed the season.
