Gonna be alot more of that if we keep clear cutting forests. Pretty much every Woodpecker species is on the decline.
Anything we can do to give cavity nesters more options we need to do it. If it is nothing more than a few Purple Martin gourds and Bluebird houses. Just keep the damn European Starlings and House Sparrows out of them.

Once corporations are forced to offset their "carbon footprint" they will be leasing timberland that will never get cut again.
I personally hope they lease up our hunting lease. Don't have to worry about the timber company ever again.
