I'm assuming he had a concussion.

he didn't look that bad leaving the stadium last night, but definitely a little weak on his feet

Diagnosed with a concussion. He`ll probably need a week off before hitting the field.

Thanks Water, he looked really bad even in the 4th quarter last night. I hope he makes a full recovery. I don't think he ever got hit like that while playing in the Ivy League for Harvard.

I looked for some update without success. Poor kid. You could tell he didn't have a clue what was going on. When Byrd caught the ball in the end zone it was like he was only clapping because he knew something good happened--but he didn't know what it was. I feel really bad for him. Do you think they ought to take kids off the sidelines when that happens?

at least he has two weeks before the Fla game to recover. I think Lee can handle MSU.

Lee got the confidence he needed. I think it helped that he had to come in without preparation. He did not have time to get nervous or think. He just went out and ran the offense and threw the ball.

I wholeheartedly believe this. That was wrong to let the cameras focus on him over and over. Take him off the field.

That's how I feel. I just think he should have received medical attention. Of course, I don't suppose there's much you can do for a concussion, but he was so obviously confused.

You do realize that the "hit" was from an LSU player? It wasn't the tackle ... it was the knee to the head from one of the OLinemen.

Somebody should have put a leash on him so he didn't hurt himself on the sideline. Poor guy was in never never land looking for Peter Pan.

he did have enough senses to see the coaches telling him to get on the ground when he was trying to walk off.

You're right. It is important to completely recover from a concussion before going back on the field. Getting a second concussion before completely recovering from the first can do serious damage that lasts a lifetime.
