Geico check question

I had damage to my truck for Ida and made a claim with Geico. I still have a note so they said my name and the bank name would be on the check. It came with my name and Unknown. Can I just cash the check? Is it common to have Unknown on a check from and insurance company. Just seeing if anyone had this happen before.

Never seen that but I could surmise that theyre sending it to satisfy their duty to pay a first party claim within the time allowed by law. You will not be able to cash it. You need to find out your payoff and name of finance company and have them reissue checks accordingly.
