No matter where you turned that year, it was always someone doubting if the Tiger defense was good enough yet you are clearly missing the point here. That 2019 LSU was an offensive team driven by Joe Burrow & all the rest of the talent on the offensive side of the ball.

Then who beat Bama 44-16?
As for 2019 LSU the D bowed up after the OM game. No one even kept it close until Clemson, whom we held to 8pts in the 2nd half.
