He isn’t immune from criticism, at all. Liberals should absolutely drag him for this. It just makes zero sense for conservatives to do so. It’s the equivalent of there being a socialist President and conservatives dragging him for not being as socialist as he claimed to be during the campaign.
Liberals should drag him for not being liberal enough. Conservatives should drag him for not being conservative enough. Either side doing the converse is silly political grandstanding.
