It is because O has built his reputation as a great recruiter...just like Miles did. I think they both are guilty of signing the highest star players regardless of position. So LSU always has top recruiting classes but very poor team position management. Thus our pitiful OLine. Hard to develop and win with 2-3 star Olinemen across the board. It happens but it also makes you look really weak when it ain't happening...and it ain't happening at LSU.
