He got a higher percentage (no recall) than he got in 2018 when he was elected governor. The no recall vote was about 64% and was 30% higher than the vote for recall. I don’t see how it can be determined that he was weakened by the recall. It would have been great to see him removed, but that was never happening.

For me, this might just be the end of believing this country can ever be fixed.
The people now want this kind of rule. No matter how bad things get, they’ll vote for whoever promises to make them more slavish.
