I completely agree with that aspect but coaches battle this all the time. It's very rare to see a coaching staff downplay an opponent or show a lack of respect.

The players certainly share the responsibility. You can't put all the blame for your mental and emotional preparation on the coaches, though some coaches are better at it than others. See: Saban, Nick.

C’mon. These young men had a lot on their plate dealing with the displacement from the hurricane and the mental state of not knowing if family is okay…
