Easily the weakest part of the movie but you still had the Vader/Luke lightsaber battle, Endor space battle and the Sarlacc pit battle. I am sure that I am missing some other parts but I'll put it up against the fellowship's Weathertop, Battle of Amon Hen and Balin's Tomb.

The problem is the Lord of the Rings is a near perfect masterpiece. If they knew how successful the Extended Editions would be, I do wonder if they would have shot the Scouring of the Shire. For the theatrical release just go straight from “You bow to no one” to Sam picking up Rosie in the Green Dragon.
