US Intelligence had this figured out. I’d read a magazine article months before 9/11 that said bin laden wanted to hijack planes and use them in weapons. They’ed already attacked the building with a truck bomb in 93 or 94.
We knew that Muslim students were doing pilot training and were a threat.
