Look for dark spots of water between the sand bars. Pompano hang out in the “deep” pools between the sand bars. I use Fishbites for bait. Buy the bait locally to get fresh Fishbites. If you buy from Amazon or Walmart, it’s not fresh. Shrimp or coquina flavor is what I use.
