These are the same people that just handed over an entire country and 90 billion dollars worth of equipment to the taliban over a weekend because they didn't see it coming. I think I'll be ok.

As horrifying as the last 20 years have been with respect to privacy rights, I’m comforted by the fact that the people “in charge” are borderline retarded. How close to the border? They took the most technologically advanced military in the world and got blown out on the road by a bunch of 3rd worlders with Toyota trucks, some AKs, and a whole bunch of sand.
Politicians are often not much more than shameful opportunists who end up in public life because they only skill they have is arse-kissing. Any other profession, most would be shown the door on day 1.

Not sold on that wasn’t purposeful. They knew exactly what was going to happen I think.
