While that sentiment was the basis for his groundswell of support in 2016, it won’t be enough to deter our strong AD from making the move to restore the program to national prominence.

Our AD is unanimously viewed as one of the very best athletic directors in America for a reason. Bringing in Mulkey and the way he handled a very politically divisive baseball coaching search is evidence of his skill and business acumen. He will undoubtedly get the right guy in here.

He signed the stupid extension, and took out the installment buyout.

Obviously, this might not have been an issue if he had done his job at a high level per your own comments, and addressed last December. An AD that is not providing oversight to the athletic department and its staff seems like the opposite of "strong AD".
