Sting Sr is usually pretty protective of the program anyway. His tidbits are a little informative but it's never out of line. Their family has been around the game for years. Today you could tell that he and his family were hurt by the fans reactions to Saturday.

The Stingley hate by the LSU fans is extremely ridiculous. He did his job outside of the one bad play that resulted in a TD that ultimately didn't matter. Stingley is not a vocal leader. It's like telling Nick Chubb to be a vocal leader. Stop putting that kind of thing onto people. Sting is a quiet, soft spoken kid and all the vitriol spilled against him daily is fricking ridiculous. You have Mr 18 Clark, a senior, but nobody brings up how he isn't even a role player.

It's sad to say, but we don't have any "leaders" on defense. Hell the leaders we have on offense aren't really good so that doesn't even matter there.
