My neighbors fence went down in Laura. He asked me to split the cost. I declined. If he wouldn’t have put it back up, I would have put one up. I don’t need a fence partner.

I don’t understand this line of thinking people have with fences. If I decide I want something, I pay for it. I’m not buying your shite because you decided you want it and you perceive I benefit in some way. Wtf is that?

Agree , I don’t need a fence partner either.

About 5 years ago, I had a new fence built at the same time of home addition and new pool build. I didn’t ask for money, but both side neighbors told me individually they would contribute. 5 years later, I never saw a dime from either. No big deal, don’t care.

A portion of the east side of the fence just came down during the storm. I already set up the repair and it’s supposed to get done on Monday. Again, I won’t be approaching the neighbor for any contribution.
