None of you likely have family there BUT the facility has been cleared by the fire marshall and the state for their residents to return. 27 of their residents came to our facility in New Iberia and the others to Gonzales.
I'm only saying this as it must mean that they have water/electricity ... if this facility is in your area, that could be great news for you.
Hopefully this random info will help someone or encourage someone that their turn is soon.

Good I’ve been missing the nurse TikTok videos.

Stop .. I'm seriously trying to help anyone that may be in that area have some hope that their turn is coming.

Thanks for update. The entergy map doesn't show much power on for Thibodaux yet. Hopefully, more will turn green today.

Don’t think there’s electricity but should be generator power. Water must be all good now tho.
If anyone knows more please post!!

suman I don't know for sure but am assuming they're not on generator. BUT the fact that they allow the elderly and deem it to be safe is a great thing. NOW, I just hope that there is a working nearby hospital for those that may need it.

Purple I assumed that they wouldn't be on generator ... unless they have natural gas?? Not sure but at any rate, I did think that it was in general good news for someone.

The hospital's emergency generator got struck by lightning during the storm and they had to ship out all of their patients. They must have a generator back on line now. Most of the hospitals in SE Lousiana are on generator power only right now.

Glad to hear that .. I just am glad that the people are back in their facility where they're familiar with things.
It's a good sign in my eyes.
Hope you're well.
