Unplug the oil sensor and see if it stays running. Mine went out on my 10kw portable. $100 part and Boone had may and online was all back order so I just left it unplugged just have to keep a check on the oil but doesn’t hurt it at all to run it

Any tips on locating the oil sensor?
777 -- no surging -- it starts, runs for about 10 secs, then stops -- then repeats.
