For folks heading west on hwy 90, construction has 90 down to 1 lane crossing bridge in Morgan city. Looks like there's also a wreck right there. As of a few minutes ago, you can get off at Amelia exit and go around on the old bridge fairly easily. Y'all stay safe out there.

For reference, the old bridge is LA182 , it runs parallel to the US90 bridge over the Atchafalaya River. You’ll want to take the Brachear Ave exit. That’ll run you to LA182 through down town MC.
You can also exit even earlier on MLK. Don’t get worried though. It’s not a dangerous street. It’s a nothing boulevard . When US90 was finished, a certain local group demanded the boulevard be changed from East Blvd to MLK so that when you drive into MC the very first sign you see says MLK.

I always loved when people freaked our about mlk in Patterson like it was some sort of super dangerous road. Don’t get me wrong it’s not the prettiest street but a bunch of friendly people down there.
