I am only going to mess with pole beans, tomatoes and peppers. I did plant a couple of pumpkin seeds.
But I don't care if any of it does anything. After this hot arse summer, I am over the whole gardening thing.

Don't be so quick to give up. Fall/Winter/Spring gardening is my favorite of the year. I plant lots of stuff in late Sept./early Oct. and most of it will over-winter and produce well into the early spring before I pull it for my spring/summer garden.
No heat, less weeds and pests, less watering all make fall/winter gardening some of my favorite times of the year.
