That’s materially different than saying 99% of Italians buy Barilla, though. That stat is saying that Barilla is available in 98% of Italian grocery stores. Heinz and Coke are probably in 98% of American grocery stores, but that doesn’t mean that 98% of Americans buy those brands.

It’s the most commonly purchased pasta in Italy when I’ve googled is all I was trying to say. Was just offering a suggestion. Didn't think it would be picked apart. It will suffice for a jar of sauce.
