No sure why anyone would doubt natural immunity or think a man-made vaccine would be better. The reality is many people need the help of the vaccine because their immune system is not a strong as others. Not sure why these are mutually exclusive situations to people.

Jury is still out on covid. It appears severe infection/those who felt like dog shite get better protection than vaccine, those who had a minor case of sniffles or asymptomatic seem to have less protection
What we have here is selection bias by both groups though
Team rocket and anti vax will cling to this one study to show natural infection is better, team nurse and others will cling to their study to show to show vaccines offer better protection
A non biased party will tell you it’s a bit of both
