This is "bad Trump", where clumsy messaging blunts the message.
He has a solid point to make, but he expressed in a way that makes it too easy for people to say he is crowing about a process he set in motion and would have had to deal with, too.
Lefties will say he's criticizing the decision to leave (his), rather the process (Biden's).
