I can understand someone being hesitant for a vaccine under emergency authorization.

I could see this at the very begininning. Then after months of proof that the vaccine was safe and effective, I lost any sympathy I had for that mind set.

Now that they’re starting to get FDA approval I don’t really get it, except people just being dug in and not wanting to change their opinion regardless of new developments.

Because they made their mind up already. You have people who at one point said "I'm not getting a non FDA approved vaccine" who are now saying "uhh, this 'approval' was clearly a decision made by the corrupt deep state dims!!"

It's all a farce. They were never going to get it and now they're just shifting gold posts.

Now, things are getting shut down again, we're getting more restrictions put in place, and our covid rates are bad (Relatively speaking) because of their decisions. If there's anyone they should be mad at, its themselves.

There’s some of this for sure, but I try to give people the benefit of the doubt and not label entire swaths of the population as trash/dumb just because they don’t look at a situation the same way I do.

Why is our brain dead president and his administration trying their best to regulate and mandate the shot to American citizens while leaving the southern border wide open, allowing thousands of Covid-positive illegals in unfettered? And then letting them disperse throughout the country?

Think that could have anything to do with it? Nahhh, probably not.

Speaking of moving goal posts, isn’t that EXACTLY what the cdc and Government have don’t this last year and a half? “2 weeks to stop the curve” turned into a fricking year of absolute bull shite. And you expect people to trust them? Please.

This, it’ll just continue this way with some for perpetuity when the virus remains and has new variants bc some are too dense to understand how science works.

What they neglect to mention is there have been heaps of scholarly articles about coronaviruses being studied for years now, we did not start from scratch. It was this strain (and now variants) that were new. On top of that, the entire fricking world was impacted so there was an unprecedented amount of resources thrown to the global scientific community to help with research and expedite the vaccine. There’s been months now of data to show its impact and the hospitalizations among the unvaxxed are now rising. I’m not sure what else is needed. I really don’t give a shite if you don’t trust the government, I really don’t either. I do, however, trust virology experts and scientists that have dedicated their lives to solving such problems to figure it out.

Good on LSU for making the hard but only sensible choice to save people from their own hubris. We are living in Idiocracy right now.
