All we had to do is not abandon their air support. That's it. We didn't even need to be in the country for that.

We trained these fighters to rely on us for air support in order to effectively fight, and then took it away.

Also, your assertion that no Afghan forces fired a shot is wrong. They're still fighting. LINK
