A group of us are going to the WCQ match against Canada in Nashville, and in the process of looking to secure tickets.

None of us have ever been to a match before, really in any capacity, and ticket prices on sideline vs corners/behind goal are a pretty big jump...

Which has me wondering... what's the best view/seats we should be looking for? I know as far football goes, I personally don't like being in the endzones, nor do I like being too low - feel like I can't see everything.

I would imagine it's not as big of a deal to be behind goal in soccer vs endzone for football considering you're not having to worry about down/distance, where the ball is spotted, yardage gained, etc...

Thoughts and opinions would be appreciated... TIA!

The supporters (Outlaws) section will be behind one of the goals. Stay away from those losers.

It's pretty much like football, so I'd use your same preferences.

I like being either high up at midfield or behind a goal.

Personal preference and somewhat depends on the stadium, I tend to like one of the corners about halfway up.

In my experience, I’d shoot for as close to the middle of field as you can get, somewhere between 20 and 30 rows from the bottom (field level). In most stadiums, that’s near the top of the lower bowl or near the bottom of the second tier.

For me, that’s the ideal height to be close to the action while still having a great view of the whole field . I had seats for the USWNT game in New Orleans about five rows from the field and the view wasn’t good for most of the game. We were in between a corner and midfield, around the edge of the 18. There were times where I couldn’t see shite.

It’s a lot like football tickets. I don’t mind sitting in the second or third level in Tiger Stadium, but maybe your preferences are different.

I was half kidding, but lots of the AO people can be downright annoying try-hards just looking to get on TV.

I was high up in the emirates and its not so easy to see everything.

Was only a few rows up at sellhurst and it was fricking awesome. But they have a much smaller stadium. It just crazy to have Alexis Sanchez taking a corner rt in front of you.
