well they are not as nice in general. Dont look nearly as nice and have a lot more maintenance upkeep, harder to keep clean etc.
my rule is if there is a chance you may sell the house one day....make sure the pool isnt more than 15% of home value. if you keep to that rule...you will prolly get most of the value back out. SO if its not a 500k house....dont do gunite. if its sub 300k house....i would be leary of doing anything but liner.
