If LSU, OU, and USC wins out who goes to the NC game?

I think it's LSU and OU.

LSU will go for sure if they go undefeated in the SEC. They will not do to another SEC team what they did to Auburn. Auburn got fricked, I don't care who you pull for.

I know you are jsut being funny and I am a dyed in the wool Alabama fan but I hated seeing that happen to Auburn. It is rare for a team to go undefeated down here and when they do, they deserve a shot at the title.

When BAMA can't go, I truly pull for other SEC teams like they are BAMA when they play in that game.

You think in that situation, it'd be LSU & OU, do ya?

Put down the pipe, son.

If you think an undefeated team from Los Angeles isn't going to the dance, you're high.

If LSU and USC go undefeated you can bet your arse they would pair us up in the NC game. People have been wanting to see this game for a while.

if we win out, there is no way we don't play in the N C game due to strenght of schedule.

If USC doesn't lose to Stanford again, then it will be LSU and USC. Oklahoma still has to play Missouri, too.

It's good to see I'm not the only one that pulls for all SEC teams when they play out of conf.

If LSU, OU, and USC all go undefeated, it's USC vs. OU... I could see LSU rise all the way up there, but if OU doesn't lose, how could LSU jump them? USC and OU would stay 1 and 2, which they're at already. There's no way LSU could go from 6 to jump an undeafeated 2 who had been there since week 3.

Based on current standings, we have 3-4 top ten teams to play depending on the poll.

That would help on a computer polls

But the clincher would be that we are the defending champs and IF (big if) we went undefeated we would likely jump from 3 to 2 in the human polls because of that reason. If not the BCS system would fall apart.

Unless USC were to be 2 at that time, i see OU getting bumped. Especially since everyone want to see the match-up from the top 2 teams of the decade......

But i just don't see us going undefeated. 2-3 losses IMO... I think the SEC champ will have two losses this year

If LSU goes undefeated they will have beaten UGA and Florida. No way we get left out.

There will never be a time in college football when an undefeated USC gets left out. They got left out in '03, but that was a loss situation.

No matter how weak their schedule is...if USC goes undefeated regular season, they will be named pending National Champions. A NC win by the other team will be seen as a 1 in 20 lucky chance.

Quantity of quality wins. None of these teams have any yet. Things change further in the season when teams show what they are capable of when they face real opponents, then you have the conference championship game to look at (for SEC and Big-12 anyway). It is possible that USC would be left out for this reason, but my guess is it would be LSU and USC.

If USC goes undefeated they get to the BCS NC game. They earned it with the stomping of The Ohio State University this weekend. The SEC representative for the BCS better go undefeated if they want in.

If LSU goes, it will be against USC, not OU. However, if all three of these teams are undefeated, the most probable matchup is USC vs. OU. I'd rate the probabilities about like this...

USC vs. OU: 60%
USC vs. LSU: 39.99%
OU vs. LSU: 0.01%

Quantity of quality wins.

Ridiculous. That didn't help LSU versus USC in 2003 or Auburn vs. OU in 2004. Poll voters don't care about quality wins or strength of schedule. They form an idea early on of who is best, and if those teams don't lose, they go to the NC, regardless of what anyone else does.

In the last four games of the season, LSU could beat four NFL teams by 100 points per game, while USC and OU could each squeak by four high school teams in overtime, and LSU would not leapfrog either of them.

What odds are you willing to give on that? Assuming USC and OU are also undefeated, I give LSU less than a 40% chance of getting to the NC game, even if we are undefeated.

IF OU and USC keep beating teams by 2 or 3 scores, LSU is not jumping them. Give up that pipe dream.
LSU ain't going undefeated nor is any other SEC team, so this is all irrelevant.
