re: UCLA Game where To Stay?

I was going to try and park in Pasadena, somewhere not in an adjacent parking lot, to try and avoid some congestion and take the backway to the Air BnB where I'm staying, which is between Santa Monica and downtown. I'll Uber over, but I have no qualms about walking a mile or two after a game to avoid sitting and fighting traffic for just as long or longer.

I'm flying into Ontario because it was cheaper, but I was told by a friend that lived in that area for a few years that if you stay on that side of town to expect just as much traffic as staying downtown.
