Well clearly it’s got to be systemic racism and white supremacy that’s at the root of all of this, because it obviously can’t be that the woman didn’t have enough money on her card to make a purchase. NAH, that’s not it. Blameless as is tradition.

Obviously the reason she didn't even have $11 on her card was because of the systemic racism in this country. And the Asian store owners were clearly acting all white by demanding that she pay for the goods and attempting to call the police when they felt threatened. I call this social justice. Ebony Afzal is a hero

Just once I wish some black leaders, politicians, or celebrities would speak up and say "you can't complain about racism when you act like this, look how you represent us. Do better."

Instead they opt to not hold eachother accountable for anything, and usually just look away or act like it doesn't exist. You'd think a whole race that feels like they suffer from racism every single day would eventually hold a mirror up to themselves and their culture, or at least there'd be a segment of them that called out this behavior.

Where is the accountability from those pushing to end all racism and bigotry?
