Directv app on television

Trying to get directv on a tv but the LG tv does not have the directv app.
It has the att app but I can’t log in with my directv log in. I thought att owned directv!
Is there a workaround?

I asked this question a month or so ago and there wasn't a clear workaround other than loading the apps of the various channels you like and using your DTV login to access them. I concluded that I cannot watch my DTV via streaming on a TV that does not have a box.
