The thought of losing sense of smell/taste wasn’t attractive, but I’m reasonably healthy so I’ve never thought of COVID as a deadly threat.

The way that COVID could become a deadly threat for people like me is to let lockdowns prevent regular physical activity. In that way the lockdowns become deadly.

This is really my only true concern with the virus itself. I really enjoy food and losing smell and taste would REALLY bother me.

As others have echoed, the virus wasn't a true concern. It was the gov't reaction to it. My disappointment with my fellow Americans is at an all time high.
