quote:Agreed. And if the conference adds teams eastward...say 2 of FSU, Miami, Clemson, UCF or even somebody like West VA. or VA. Tech, what happens with the alignment? Go west young men! Does it not make sense that LSU (Arkansas too) gets pushed to the west when 2 are added like Ok State/TX Tech/Baylor to balance out the adds in the east? That would put us out/away from the other original SEC Schools and ESPN wouldn't give a shite! We would be in the New, Old, Southwest Conference! Where does this shite end after UT/OU and whatever the phuck the Aggies do?
I feel like Alabama, Auburn, Tennessee, Georgia, and Florida are going to see the frequency they play each other increase, and we're going to see an overall decrease amongst our best games. It'll be nice to play Georgia and Tennessee more, but again, the teams we've formed a strong relationship with over the last 30 years since the divisional split have been Bama, UF, and Auburn.
Kind of feels like LSU isn't exactly a winner in this new arrangement.
