Just canceled my '22 Lightning reservation this week. The incompetency of the dealership telling me they lost my paperwork and will have to refund and start over was a sign from the Heavens that I didn't need to be a guinea pig for Gen 1 Lightning in the 1st place. I'll take my arse to Houston and buy a damn Tesla or another EV next year when Uncle Joe makes gas $5 gallon.

I’ve been very satisfied with service at Toyota dealerships in Alexandria, first it was AllStar and now Walker. They’ve never tried to gouge me.Ex.-I took my wife’s Prius in for oil change, tire rotation and they told me it needed new brakes.85,000 miles so I wasn’t surprised and made an appt. When I took it back, little while they came and got me and told me the brakes didn’t need replacement after all.Something about the tech that recommended new brakes had little experience with brakes, the brake expert that was going to replace them said they didn’t need changing.I was prepared to pay for a brake job.Same car at 105,000 miles,we gave it to grandson so I took it in and asked them to check it over, especially the brakes They didn’t find anything wrong and said brakes had plenty of life left.
We’ve had a bunch of Toyota’s over the years-Camry,Venza,Corolla,2 Priuses,Tundra,Tacoma and Highlander and have gone to dealership for all our service and have always been pleased.About the only thing I do myself is change batteries and windshield wiper blades.Iused to rotate tires myself but I’ve reached a point where I’d rather pay them $20.
