Is Webb playable? Too wet?
This rain is bumming me out. I haven’t played in two weeks but gall dang I’m playing Sunday. I can’t go any longer.

Save for a few spots here and there, I always felt like Webb drained well and thus is typically playable

Have you considered moving out west?

I know some people out there (Utah, Arizona, Nevada) that play uninterrupted every single weekend this time of year and even into early December.

Greens were horrible about 10 days ago. Other than some spots here and there, the course wasn't that soaked.

It's pretty damn wet, but playable. Greens are pretty bad as well.

Bring some bug spray if you're playing in the evening.

Got sucked into playing it today....complete trash. Grass and weeds have grown up in areas of the course that is looks ghetto. Course is wet, but what the hell is up with the greens? Bald spots all around and huge squares simply cut out of the greens....are they trying to use this to repair other areas? It's like a skin graft but with the greens.

With the closing of Howell and now the quasi-closing of Dumas, you would think they would funnell some maintenance reseources into bringing Webb back into the best shape it can be. Unlike Dumas or Howell, Webb gets the rounds to justify the cost.

Just pathetic....
