Juveniles are way more willing to shoot than adults. Adults - for the most part - have more impulse control and can to some degree realize a life sentence is not worth shooting someone over an iPhone or vehicle. Juveniles do not have that impulse control or forward-looking mindset, get nervous, and start blasting.
I am not saying an adult can't be an idiot, because we see it happen daily in BR, but juveniles scare me more because they have even less control and mental stability.

Ask the jail guards and they'll confirm this. The few that I've talked to have all said that they'd rather work at Angola over the juvenile detention center.
